The PROGNOS project, which aims to advance the prediction of in-lake responses to change using near-real-time models, was officially launched during a kick-off meeting at Erken laboratory, 8th-10th June 2016.
Sixteen project participants from Denmark, Ireland, Israel, Norway and Sweden gathered to present, discuss and plan activities to be undertaken during the coming year. Project participants include members of universities, SMEs and government bodies (full list of participants). Additionally, useful feedback about the project was provided by key project stakeholders from Irish Water, the Israel Water Authority and Stockholm Water.
The next major project group meeting will take place from the 13th-15th June 2017.
